2018 Rosé (case of 6)

With nearly 2 years in tank, this gorgeous rosé from the epic 2018 harvest is a blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Pale copper in colour this wine has a delicate vanilla and rose petal aroma. The creaminess obtained by extended tank maturation combines perfectly with strawberries and cherries on the palate.
We were on holiday when the UK went into lockdown, and returned to a very different world, although life in the vineyard continued pretty much as usual for us. With the fabulous weather through April and May we would often finish work in the vines and retire to a little sun trap around the back of the winery. We particularly enjoyed sampling this rosé straight from the tank throughout this period, and so there are slightly less bottles available than pre lockdown quantities!!
This is a well balanced wine with a wonderful finish and will always remind us of those gloriously sunny days of early Summer 2020.
2000 bottles produced (minus a couple of dozen due to the perfect rosé drinking weather in April and May 2020!)
